Role Overview

This opportunity is ideal for a mid-to-senior level professional with a strong background in horizontal drilling and completions in complex shale environments, similar to those found in US shale plays.
You’ll be working in a technically demanding setting, contributing to the early-phase appraisal of a shale gas reservoir. The position requires a proactive approach to well planning, completions, and real-time operations in an integrated drilling services model (IPM). Your experience in managing well simulations, BHA design, and PLT analysis will be critical in driving operational efficiency and well performance.

Responsibilities

The project is working on both 340K and 225K units, running Live pressure well operations from velocity strings to fishing runs. This campaign will be land-based in the desert and will run for 4+ years on a 35/35 schedule. (This may change due to operational needs).

Performance Energy are currently looking to hire MPD Field Supervisors and MPD Field Engineers to support a major service companies in the Middle East.
Our client's project is working on both onshore and offshore operations and starting up in late March 2025. Some of the main challenges that you will be facing on this project being losses due to the formations and the Heat and harsh environment, with the offshore wells working on shallow water operations.
In total we are looking for 8 personnel all having experience with MPD 4x MPd supervisors and 4x MPD Engineers. These projects will be working for a minimum of 3 years and working on a 60/30 or 45/30 rotation and starting up late March or early April.
The ideal candidates will have experience working on both onshore and offshore operations, the MPD Supervisor having experience working in different areas around the world with a mixture of onshore and offshore experience, plus experience dealing in High-pressure environments.
With the MPD Engineer having experience also on both onshore and offshore operations and working with different MPD softwares through their careers. As well as having similar experience with High-pressure environments.

Our client’s project is a onshore project on unconventional wells, working with ABP, Slickwater, Acid, Sirroco and Hybor fluid systems. This project will be working in the Middle East on a 3 year project, with the first initial contract being 12 months working on a 60/30 rotation.
The ideal candidate for the Frac Operator role will have a minimum of 5 years experience working as a Farc Operator, having hands on experience with Hydraulic fracturing and Stimulation.
The ideal candidate for the Frac Supervior role will have minimum of 10 years experience working as a Frac Supervisor, and be proficient with FB4K as well as strong English communication skills.
We are looking to hire a total of 7 Frac superviosrs and 9 Frac Operators to begin with, with then more to be needed later on in the year, this will run for an approximate duration of 12 months.
